Job Description

A Good Opportunity for ..

1. Ensure that all laboratory specimens are right patient identification, right Lab no., right sample collection tube, right anticoagulant, and right transportation time & condition to eradicate invalid patient results.
2. Ability to decide the acceptability of blood sample after centrifugation.
3. Inform any abnormalities of specimens to Senior Med: Tech:, Asst: manager and/ or Manager.
4. Authority to reject the unsuitable sample for processing and inform to concerned department to recollect the specimen and then record in Rejected Sample register book and also internal worksheet form.
5. Perform analytical processing automatically and/or manual whenever necessary.
6. Perform calibration for machine and prepare QC materials.
7. Inform any abnormal patient results and malfunctioning of analyzer to Senior Med: Tech:, Asst: Manager and/ or Manager.
8. To participate with Laboratory Manager in the Check and Act portion of Hospital PDCA cycle.
9. Assures a clean work area and technical clean- up at the end of each shift.
10. Assists in maintaining sufficient supply at each work station.
11. Ensure all the tests are accurate before reporting.
12. To assist the senior medical technologist in all aspect of duties delegated.

Job Requirements

-DPMS/ B.P.Sc./B.Med.Tech (Medical Laboratory Technology)
-Minimum 1 year experience in Hospital Laboratory
-Good communication skill
-Fluency in English four skills
