Inspect workplaces for adherence to regulations on safety, health, and the environment
Design programs to prevent disease or injury to workers and damage to the environment
Identify chemical, physical, mechanical, radio-logical, and biological hazards in the workplace
Administer data tracking, collection, input and reporting for all HSE related activities, including but not limited to: employee orientations, and safety meetings
Inspect/evaluate workplace environments and equipment to ensure safety standards and government regulations are being followed
Recommend measures to help protect workers from potentially hazardous work conditions
Investigate accidents to identify their causes and to determine how it might be prevented
Examines lighting, equipment, ventilation, and other conditions that may affect employee health, comfort, or performance
Develop and conduct employee safety and training programs that cover a range of topics, such as - Safety briefing, Toolbox Talks
Find solutions to unsafe acts/ unsafe working conditions and environmental concerns
Assist the HSE Executive and staff with any administrative functions, including setting up meetings and functions, doing research, writing memos, emailing and
photocopying.
Prepare safety advisories for communication of hazards and announcements to employees
Assist Management in the preparation and presentation of safety related materials
Complete all health and safety projects as assigned by HSE Executive
Any ad-hoc duties assigned
Able to travel as per operation requirement
Job Requirements
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s degree (or) Diploma in engineering with Professional Certificates in Safety or related subject/ Formal training in Safety and Risk Management
A minimum of 3 years experiences in a related field
Good knowledge of English (4 skills) - Minimum Pre Intermediate level
Computer skills required - Knowledge of Microsoft Office (MSWord, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Office 365)
