-Understand the application of the Health, Safety and Environmental at Work, etc. Myanmar OSH Law, 2019 and other legislation relevant to the Companies business.
-Keep up to date with changes in current legislation and to bring to the attention of the OHSE Manager
-Plan and develop OHSE Management System road map of the organization to achieve OHSE objectives
Attend such courses/seminars run by external sources to enable accurate interpretation of legislation to enable implementation within the organization.
-Ensure that all “Assessments” as required by legislation are conducted and reviewed at relevant intervals and to maintain records of the same.
To recommend control measures and advise on the standard of P.P.E. issued to employees.
Conduct OHSE inspections and prepare reports (Such as; Monthly Statistics & Inspection report) of all the company’s operations.
Immediately contact the OHSE Manager if dangerous situations are found, that in the opinion of the HSE Executive require immediate correction or the stopping of any operation.
To notify the OHSE Manager if the corrective action agreed after any workplace inspection is not implemented by the targeted date.
To carry out investigations into all accidents and near-miss incidents and to record the findings on the relevant forms.
To arrange Health surveillance as instructed (Internal/ External).
To highlight areas where training/certification is required to meet the standards imposed by Legislation, Approved Codes of Practice, or HSE guidance.
To bring new techniques for improving health, safety and welfare to the attention of the OHSE Manager.
To set a personal example by wearing appropriate personal protective clothing/equipment and observing all safety requirements/procedures.
Any ad-hoc duties assigned.
Able to travel as per operation requirement.

-Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s degree (or) Diploma in engineering with Professional Certificates in Safety or related subject/
- Formal training in Safety and Risk Management.
- A minimum of 5 years experiences in a related field.
- Good knowledge of English (4 skills)
- Minimum Pre Intermediate level.
-Computer skills required - Knowledge of Microsoft Office (MSWord, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Office 365).
- Highly effective communicator with the ability to follow-up is essential.
