• Implements operational strategies with direct impact on the objectives and on operational results of DC of responsibility.
• Makes decisions and recommendations in order to achieve operational and cost effective results, prevent delays in assigned work and eliminate the risk of considerable expenditures of time, human resources and/or funds.

• Provides support and coordination to peers on the implementation of company policies, programs and initiatives required of his/her involvement

• Work closely with Contract Manager-Logistics in managing DC in accordance with determined methodologies
• Drives and closely controls DC of responsibility to ensure that the operational teams provide smooth warehouse operations and stay within the budget
• Recommends and organizational structure for the DC of responsibility, which clearly outlines responsibilities and accountabilities
• Identifies where the operations should be improved, then develops and implements initiatives and processes for warehouse operations

• Sets KPI, targets and goals for monitoring and evaluating operations and cost effectiveness
• Ensures that appropriate operations-related information is correctly and efficiently stored and processed and made available at all times
• Drives for and controls the effective use of DC resource in order to stay within approved budget
• Ensures that the DC of responsibility comply with prevailing legal and statutory requirements in all aspects
• Develop a culture of quality, service excellence and cost consciousness in DCs of responsibility
• Procures transportation services and provides control to ensure effective and on-time delivery of good
• Coordinates and controls outsourced labor providers to ensure continuous and reliable services
• Provides managerial control over the use of tools and equipment to ensure that they are in good working condition and sufficiently available and ready for use at all times
• Participates in safety committee and allow and support staff to participate in safety committee as required
• Advises and trains the employees to carry out work without cause which may be unsafe to work
• Ensures that the employees comply with the rules, regulations, instructions, orders or measures relating to work safety
• Conducts Hazard Analysis with Safety Committee and inform the employees of the hazard in the work place
• Check the performance of the place of operations according to the work plan, project or measures on work safety
• Complies with company OHS policy and procedures
• Ensures the conduct of annual drills of emergency and evacuation as required by the law or company policy

• Any Graduate
• Male/Female
• Minimum 5 years’ experience and must have 3 years in managerial role
• Must have leadership skill and project management skills
• Good Communication in English
• Good presentation skills
