DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Lead on the completion of all pre-opening tasks according to timelines; including development of the Hotel brand. Develop the hotel’s business plan and set up the hotel’s human capital structure in liaison with HR. Establish the pre-opening and post-opening budget estimations and allocations with Finance. Represent the Hotel to local businesses, government agencies and other business partners. Develop SOPs for entire hotel operations to match with the property and its standards Develop and implement the sales and marketing activities and plan Attend construction and project-team meetings and work closely with the related teams to ensure high standards across all areas of the hotel’s build. Tour and visually inspect the property on a daily basis, monitor cleanliness of the property and quality of products and service throughout the hotel. Recruit and select the management team and relevant employees needed for hotel opening. Oversee their training to ensure performance is in accordance with established SOPs. Coach & support hotel team to effectively manage the occupancy and rates structures and control the expenses. Manage the cost within the hotel; including suppliers, utilities and staff costs within budget parameters and combined with sales/revenue and acumen to deliver efficient and profitable operations Analyse service issues, identify trends and opportunities, overcome challenges and ensure continuous improvement of guest satisfaction and results.
REQUIREMENTS Education Minimum 4 years’ Hospitality Management qualification (Bachelor degree or higher diploma)Experience 1. Previous experience in a similar role and in a pre-opening setting.2. Minimum 4+ years’ experience as a Hotel Operation Manager in Business Hotels. 3. Previous hotel experience in branded hotels will be additional advantage
