Objective of Position:
An Operations & Project Manager’s main duties include getting information of upcoming government tenders, learning GM’s job, assisting the GM with duties, monitoring policies and procedures, suggesting improvements and function as a project manager. Duties of the OP Mgr include, but certainly not limited to, planning, motivating and coordinating the distributorship’s management through leadership and solid business practices.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Liaise with government agencies on the submission of permit to all government bodies i.e. renovation permit, demolition permit and all other permit, etc.
• Get first-hand information of upcoming tenders which company can participate and act as liaison officer with the government bodies.
• Assist the GM in hiring all positions, completing performance evaluations regularly and training.
• Maintaining an enthusiastic attitude to build positive employee attitudes and morale.
• Assist in overseeing and maintaining compensation plans for all employees.
• Assist in planning and developing short and long-term goals and objectives annually, and submitting time projections to higher management for approval.
• Assist the GM in effectively communicating with the local HODs on a weekly basis to review departmental forecasts and ensure consistency with annual projections.
• Paying close attention to daily operations, recommending and creating improved courses of action where necessary.
• Explaining the policies and procedures of the distributorship to all employees and following up with employees to ensure that these issues are understood and followed.
• Coordinating with the business/administrative office to ensure that records and analyses are correctly maintained.
• Assist in creating a good working relationship with dealers and manufacturer personnel and maintaining these relationships.
• In the absence of the GM coordinating regular meetings with the managers of each department to ensure their profitability and efficiency.
• Covering the GM’s duties in his absence.
• Focusing on any customer complaints that department managers are unable to rectify and taking the necessary steps to resolve these complaints.
• Co-ordinate application for showroom permit from submission to approval.
• Assist to co-ordinate and mediate any issue, dispute or complain from local parties or government bodies.
• Assist the GM in all tasks that may be designate to you such as functioning as a project manager for a specific program or development.
• To report daily to the GM on all task and duties perform and completed.

Secondary responsibilities (if candidate has financial experience):
• Assist in providing distributorship management with weekly reports on the financial condition of the distributorship.
• Help overseeing the monthly financial statement to ensure it is complete, accurate and submitted on time to the management or owners.

Job Requirements

Requirements:
• Experience in the finance sector is usually a very strong asset, as is significant project management experience.
• Must have an advanced knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
• Must have a good understanding of all the relevant industry regulations, as their job entails making sure that all processes, procedures and project activities meet regulatory and security requirements.
• Must have exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills and be able to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks are essential.
