Mark the subject line of the email "Operations Executive"Duties And Responsibilities • Attending governmental departments’ offices (such as the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration, SSB, township labour offices, tax offices, postal offices) to ensure compliance with local requirements, which may involve some cash handling.• Drafting and completing the local template labour contract.• Drafting and sending basic letters as well as preparation of non-complicated documentation such as local template documentation, visa applications and acknowledgements of receipt.• Attending bank branches to assist with account openings and such other tasks.• Attending companies’ and law firms’ offices to personally hand over important original documentation, obtaining signatures if required and acknowledgements of receipt.• Ability to translate basic documentation from Myanmar to English and English to Myanmar. • Monitor different sources for updates from relevant governmental departments.• General administrative tasks and office support such as typing, printing, scanning, filing and procuring items as and when required.• Carry out ad-hoc tasks as and when assigned.
• At least one (1) year of work experience in the same or a similar role.• Degree from a local university (business or law degrees in particular). • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.• Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers, scanners and fax machines.• Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word and MS Excel, in particular) and excellent computer skills generally.• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work.• Attention to detail and problem solving skills.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Myanmar and English.• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task.• Previous experience of dealing with local government offices such as the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration will be a plus.• Additional qualification as an administrative assistant or secretary will also be a plus.General ProfileAs a member of the Anthem Asia team and irrespective of the role you are undertaking, you will be expected to possess, at minimum, the following personal and work characteristics at all times:• Be clear, polite and a good listener.• Have the ability to follow clear instructions.• Use initiative.• Display a happy disposition and a professional demeanour.• Be willing to learn.• Treat other staff members of Anthem Asia and its associated businesses with respect and politeness.• Be service-oriented.• Act at all times with the highest ethical standards.
