Job Description

A Big Opportunity for ...

Presales Technical Consultant/Engineer with a strong background and knowledge of computer systems and solutions especially Server and System Integration Environment. Candidate will work directly with the HP sales team to assist in qualifying customer technical needs, developing and presenting customer solutions, assisting with proposals and promoting HP technology to key customers.

As part of the sales force, a successful candidate will:
• Work closely with sales teams in the pursuit of new business.
Engage directly with customers to understand and solve technical and business challenges leveraging HPE’s broad array of computing solutions.
• Be seen as an industry expert in HPE’s IT solutions portfolio.
• Drive preference for HPE’s products and solutions over competitive offerings through a strong technical understanding of industry offerings.
• Have an understanding of IT departmental structures.
• Develop direct relationships with key decision makers
• Architect and run proof of concepts as needed to demonstrate and close business.
• Need to be expert using HPE Sizing tool and Configuration tool
• Need to have presentation skill in front of the audiences

Account Team Collaboration

• Proactive participation and engagement with the account team in specific account and opportunity planning across the region or particular market
• Provides solution advice, drives proposals, presentations, and other customer communications during pursuit activity
• Supports the activity and engagement around opportunity identification by the Mobility Specialist
• Understands the roles and proactively engages other teams and resources within HPE and partners

Job Requirements

• Identifies competition and product roll-out data/training needs and evaluates relative HPE strengths
• Architects, an appropriate technical solution to meet the customer’s business requirements
• Investigates and optimizes a solution fit to the requirements of an opportunity, both current and future
• Adapts solution design to new requirements
• Establishes the validity of a solution and its components
• Identifies the growth path and scalability options of a solution and includes these in design activities
• Generates an implementation plan with timelines for the solution
• Creates the appropriate test plan as required
• Anticipates and plans for competitive threats
• Maintains excellent communications with customer executive management across the Region
• Represents HPE as technical expert with customers; shares knowledge in area of expertise and links to related technology areas
• Builds customer loyalty through being a trusted advisor

Education and Experience:
• Technical University or Bachelor preferred or equivalent experience
• 2-4 years’ experience in solution selling and/or consultative selling
• Possess HPE Certifications will be an added advantage.
• Highly driven and self-motivated.
• Must have strong communication skills, both oral and written in Myanmar and English.
• Able to communicate effectively with vendors & customers from multi-cultural countries.
• Possess the high degree of integrity and confidentiality in the course of work with vendors & customers.
• Have strong interpersonal skills.
• Passion for sales.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office package, email and other social media platforms.
