Class Teacher Job Description
Objective
1.    To plan, implement and evaluate an educational program that support the five area development of the children age between 2 to 6 years old.
2.    To work co-operatively with early childhood educators, administration staff and allied other professional to provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment for the children attending the service.
3.    Organize and manage the class effectively by setting classroom room rule, resource and classroom floor plan reflecting on the number of children in class and their interest.
4.    Initiate and actively participate in the events, function and marketing plan to promote the school’s reputation as well as to improve overall qualities of the centre.
5.    Take initiative to promote children’s wellbeing, safety and hygiene practice.
Job Description
1.    Plan, implement, access and review lesson by considering the developmental needs, interests and abilities of all the children attending the services.
2.    Responsible to work with children age between 2 to 6 years old as directed by preschool management team and promote the health and safety of all children in assigned workplace.
3.    Deliver and guide the assistant teacher and childcare to deliver effective and valuable documentation of children’s learning, for example, filling out reports, doing observation and making assessment of the children progress.
4.    Comply with designated policies and procedures, and successfully implement all learning activities according to organization’s guidelines.
5.    Develop and maintain respectful, supportive, collaborative and responsive relationships with children and families.
6.    Model and support team to utilize a variety of teaching strategies including intentional teaching and reflective practice in daily work.
7.    Promote and reinforce positive behavior of the children by setting appropriate classroom rule.
8.    Enthusiastically and attentively participate in meetings, professional development trainings and organization’s social activities to achieve expected results.
9.    Organize the classroom materials, teaching resources and equipment to create aesthetically pleasing atmosphere.
10.    Produce roster and assigned task to share responsibilities in cleaning, classroom management, ferry duties and gate duties.
11.    Be ready, willing and qualified to act in the position of supervisor in the temporary absent.
12.    Solve students’ expected/ unexpected learning issues and personal problems effectively.
13.    Manage students’ database systematically for further application( eg; roster)
14.    Monitor and track the expenditure of all teaching aids and materials.
15.    Manage all the teaching aids and materials provided to be organized, effective and efficient, reducing unnecessary expenditure.

Qualification
•    Any bachelor graduate with Diploma or ECCD certificate.

•    English Language Proficiency Level - Intermediate Level
•    Computer literate
•    At least intermediate level of English in speaking and writing.
•    First Aid Certificate
Knowledge 
•    Strong knowledge of child protection law and regulation.
Experience
•    Minimum 2 years working experience in the preschool.
Skill
•    Good time management skill and classroom management to run the class effectively.
•    Good Judgment and decision making skill to evaluate on teacher’s performance and assigned the task appropriately
•    Excellent communication skill to interact with the children, families and colleague.
•    Leadership skill to lead the small team and supervise.
