•*Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and .distribution capabilities, and the supplier's
reputation and history
•*Analyze price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to determine reasonable prices
•*Negotiate, or renegotiate, and administer contracts with suppliers, vendors, and other representatives
•*Monitor shipments to ensure that goods come in on time, and in the event of problems trace shipments and follow up undelivered goods
•*Confer with staff, users, and vendors to discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services and determine corrective action
•* Negotiate and recommend execution of contracts for the purchase of supplies, services and equipment
•* Act to procure for the needed quality in supplies, services and equipment at the lowest possible price and in correct amounts
•*Prepare purchase orders, solicit bid proposals and review requisitions for goods and services
•* Prepare and recommend to the line manager for approval, rules and procedures governing the purchase of supplies, services and equipment
•*Keep informed of current developments in the field of purchasing, prices, market conditions and new products
•* Supervise the inspection of all supplies, services and equipment purchased to insure conformance with specifications
•* Maintain a bidders’ list, vendors’ file, and such other records as are needed for the efficient operation of the purchasing function
•*Perform related work as assigned.
Job Requirements
* Any Graduate
* Minimum 3 years-experience in purchasing
*Export/Import experience
* Able to use ERP software or SAP software
* Proficiency in MS Office – Excel / Word
* Good Communication Skills, Good Reporting Skills
* Proficiency in English 4 Skills
*Proficiency in Chinese 4 Skills is a MUST
