DKT Myanmar invites applications for the following position in our Sales Department.

Position: Product Specialist
Report to: Medical Sales Manager
Duty Station: Mandalay

About the Job: The Product Specialist is relationship management and sales position whose primary objective is to grow DKT Myanmar's family planning influence and product portfolio in clinical and hospital settings in public and private health systems. He/She will work toward qualified sales targets.

Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Communicate product information in a way that's meaningful and relevant to each individual customer and key institutional accounts; customize discussions and client interactions based on the understanding of customers' needs
- Effectively and efficiently cover assigned geographic territory and maintain a list of healthcare providers/ clinics and customers by building a business relationship with them and ensuring adequate distribution coverage
- Making appointments and meetings with Doctors, Midwives, Retailers, and Dealers, keeping a regular schedule of visit (calls) to ensure the availability of our products
- Build and maintain effective communication and relationships with medical staff and supporting administrative staff. Build strategic relationships with key opinion leaders in hospitals and clinics to negotiate the purchase
- Achieve monthly sales target and collection revenue
- Diligently implement the medical detailing program of the organization in the area of responsibility and inform healthcare providers on family planning and various contraceptive methods
- Write meaningful field reports with photos of organization and competition. Prepare weekly and monthly work schedule plan.
- Act as a link between the organization and the providers to build the capacity of the healthcare providers through medical detailing, CME's and identify training needs of the providers accordingly
- Report daily calls and competitors' activities
- Coordinate with the distributor team to reach the monthly and yearly targets
- Build the organizations' image in the respective territories among the medical community

Job Requirements

Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree (pharmacy degree preferred)
- Preferable minimum of 0-4 years' working experience as a medical representative with a multinational pharmaceutical company
- Experience with obstetrics/gynecology (OG) or reproductive health is preferred but not required
- Be prepared to travel frequently within the territories and work with minimum/ remote supervision
- Must possess a high level of integrity and responsibility
- Good command of written and spoken English and Burmese
- Driven, energetic personality with strong communication skills, persuasive in face-to-face meetings with customers
- Must be market-oriented
- Strong customer service, interpersonal skills and professional demeanour
