• Must have thorough knowledge of Power transformer manufacturing process.
• Should be well versed in the different Coil winding techniques used in Power transformers.
• Ability to read Winding drawings is a must.
• Should be familiar with the Core lamination cutting and Stacking processes.
• Should be thorough with the process of Core & Coil assembly as well as challenges posed by the same.
• Should be familiar with Vacuum type OLTC and its connection.
• Should be familiar with the drying process in Vapor phase drying plant.
• Knowledge of Vacuum and Pressurization techniques used in Power transformers is a must.
• Should have knowledge in Assembly procedures, ISO procedures, Safety procedures and assembly instruments and tools applicable for Power transformer industry.
• Should be familiar with time study standards and lean manufacture.

Job Requirements

• Ability to lead independently a team of several people along with line Managers and Engineers in transformer manufacturing.
• Should possess good delegating skills.
• Ability to deal simultaneously with various work orders / various products.
• Able to manage daily / weekly / monthly assembly plans and ensuring the target dates are met.
• Should maintain the shop floor discipline, maintain tidy assembly line and factory environment.
• Highly developed analytical and problem solving skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to positively motivate individuals and teams to meet or exceed expectations.
• Strong planning, organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
• Team attitude; eager to cooperate with others.
• Knowledge of Design and drawing will be an advantage.
Graduate in Electrical Power Engineering with Managerial Experience of 10 to 16 years in Power transformer manufacturing and EPC (Power Transformer / Substation) Project Execution of 230kV/ 132kV, 66kV, 33kV, 11kV & Capacity up to 100MVA.
