Position Purpose / Context

Ensuring the smooth operation of the production plan while on shift. Supervising the teams and the operation of the production facility during his or her shift and ensuring that brands are produced plan and according to the Company specifications including but not limited to quality standards and complying to all Health and Safety requirements.

Key Duties / Responsibilities

 Ensure that all products are manufactured as per the schedule and in accordance with the company policies and procedures.
 Ensure that subordinates carry out their duties and act as a problem solver, adviser and support to all team members.
 Plan the workforce schedules, supervise the team of Machine Operators and ensure the proper utilization of manpower during the shift to ensure smooth running of operation and targets are achieved.
 Ensure the proper usage of equipment and materials in a continuous effort to keep wastage to a minimum – record all required data.
 Ensure compliance with the health and safety requirements, the application of the company quality standards and the maintenance of high levels of housekeeping at all times.
 Ensure that Mission Directed Work Teams (MDW) and Housekeeping and maintenance (4S) modules are in place.
 Liaise with other departments, as and when required.
 Complete all documents and reports as required.

Related Position Requirements/Qualifications

 Diploma/degree holder in production and/or engineering (preferably Mechanical or Electrical) with basic computer and mathematical knowledge.
 Previous experience- on a supervisory level of people – in a food or beverage manufacturing industry. He or she should proper equipment and systems knowledge
 2 years experiences in manufacturing field.
