" Project Director is responsible for the overall safety , direction, completion and financial outcome of construction project from initial budget through project closeout.
" Project Director is expected to work with people in all levels of Project Management and Field Supervision to establish operational priorities and ensure a quality project.
" The ideal person is expected to maintain positive and effective working relationships with both internal and external members of the Project Team and support departments.
" The candidate must have a passion for design and construction and devote his or her creativity to our projects.

Major responsibilities:

" Manage efficiently in subcontractor coordination, conflict resolution, documentation and ensuring quality and safety on several projects.
" Manage all project cost relating to labour, material and equipment; and able to forecast and analyze construction cost, exposures, and profit through project completion.
" Receives regular reports from the project manager and team leads.
" Prepare and submit project estimates to clients.
" Reports directly to senior management, such as a vice president (VP) and company president.
" Able to conduct weekly/ monthly meeting with project leaders and client.
" Provide leadership through building relationships, motivating others, providing clear direction and cooperative teamwork.
" Collaborate with site construction/ project managers, quality supervisors and planning engineers to determine the specification of the projects and ensure the project is feasibility of each project.
" Provide input into the strategies developed for Global Procurement, Quality Control, Material Specification, Inspection and Design Drawing review.
" Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreement.
" Ensure compliance with country and company policies, standards and procedures.
" Specific duties include customer communications, project coordination, and assistance in billing compilation, project execution including management of in-house personnel and resources as well as sub-contractors.
" Obtaining permits and licenses from appropriate authorities.
" Understand the country policy , company procedures and standard about constructions.

Job Requirements

Requirements;
" Minimum B.E (Civil) with Bachelor /Master's degree in Project Management, Construction Management or Business Administration
" Minimum 10 years of experience in projects within the Construction and Engineering industry.
" Proven experience in a management/ Team leader position is preferable.
" In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles
" Experience in developing and managing budgets, cost estimation, develop contract agreement, manage multiple projects.
" Possess skills in the interpreting contractual agreements and formulating claims
" Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical and problem solving skills.
" Ability to lead negotiations and manage high-level meetings and discussions
" Proficient in MS Office, MS project etc.
" Understanding of Myanmar culture and organizational behavior in Myanmar context will be highly regarded.
" Excellent communications and language skills in English and Myanmar.
