GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
The Project Manager is responsible to oversee all the EPC Construction operations and ensure the successful and timely delivery of all Construction projects within roads and bridges department. The Project Manager is also in charge of tracking project progress and related expenses and meeting requirements in accordance with the timeline and performance measures as defined in the project work plan and contract. The Project Manager ensures development of Project plan, method of statement and technical advice for future tenders.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The key responsibilities are to
• Develop and implement comprehensive project and financial plans matching the strategy of the Construction Division Head
• Extensively monitor and drive the progress of work and negotiate with relevant stakeholders to meet targeted project performance measures and milestones
•Lead the construction teams and oversee all EPC projects for construction of roads and bridges
•Oversee necessary project management activities including project timeline and schedule, technical specification, labor requirements and materials requirements
•Provide technical expertise and engineering knowledge to project teams
• Manage relationships with key vendors and support when required in requisition of construction materials
•Oversee and preparation and submission of budget estimates, progress and cost tracking reports for all projects and report to Construction Division Head
•Ensure comprehensive planning and management of local teams and manpower, equipment and materials to ensure the completion of all projects with required specifications and timeline
•Drive investigation of damage, accidents, waste or delays at construction sites, and ensure that proper procedures are being carried out
•Consolidate monthly and quarterly reports on project updates and information to Construction Division Head
• Support the Business Development, Sales & Marketing Head on tender development in operational aspects of potential new business opportunities and technical requirements
• Analyze all potential risks (technical, financial, operational), report to head of division and implement proper preventive actions with risk mitigation plans and contingency plans
• Understand concepts on the contractual claim, anticipate and resolve any technical issues
• Direct the implementation and communication of health, safety, environmental policies and ensure that all projects fully comply with all applicable regional HSE regulations
• Master industry-related technical knowledge and political landscape to provide input to the construction head to adjust the roads and bridges department strategy
• Set up SOP & JDs to related project engineers and staffs

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent
• Diploma/Certificate in Project Management advantageous
• At least 20 years relevant experience in infrastructure projects and roads & bridges construction
• At least 5 years project manager position in roads & bridge construction field
• Operation management, preferably some experience in Asian Countries, Africa
• Further, international work experience at EPC roads & bridges contractor advantageous

PREFERRED SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Good level in spoken and written English
• Periodical travel to suppliers and project sites
