Job Description

A Big Opportunity for ...

We are seeking a passionate and resourceful candidate to fill the role of Project Officer. Based in Myanmar, the successful candidate will support the execution of Lien AID’s project activities to bring positive impact to the communities we work with in Myanmar.

Key Responsibilities:
• Project Management – Implement and coordinate efforts for on-going and new projects in Myanmar, with Lien AID’s project partners and stakeholders, to ensure key project objectives are met, in accordance with Lien AID’s systems and processes.
• Monitoring and Reporting – Monitor, track and provide timely reporting of project progress to Head office in Singapore, to ensure pre-defined outcomes are achieved.
• Research and Assessments – Coordinate and manage the conduct of research and/or assessments that Lien AID may initiate and conduct directly and/or through third-party local entities from time to time.
• Assist Programme Manager in other assigned duties relating to Lien AID’s programmes in Myanmar.

Job Requirements

Requirements:
• Bachelor degree with at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in project management of engineering and construction projects is required.
• Good understanding of water and sanitation issues in rural communities in Myanmar would be advantageous.
• A good team player who is resourceful and has a flexible hands-on approach to work.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Able to travel frequently to varying states and regions in Myanmar.
