Job Description

A Great Opportunity for ...

1. To provide professional assistance in commercial/contractual matters, any quantity surveying duties and Bill of Quantity matters to the project team
2. to assist with the procurement of plant, materials and equipment with the objective of achieving favourable supply and payment terms to minimize the costs, while achieving the required quality or better
3. To manage timely payment to suppliers for goods and services received in order to ensure there are no disruptions to services and supplies.
4. To assist QS manager to oversee the administration of subcontractor payments, instructions, contract notifications and variations in order to limit financial exposure and ensure performance of subcontractor ‘s obligations.
5. To provide support to project staff on commercial and contractual matters to facilitate production of the project
6. Perform required quantity surveying and cost analysis based on the architectural drawings, engineering estimates, and labor involved and assist in preparation
7. Maintain contract documentation and advise on post contract matters
8. Provide list of suppliers/ subcontractors with valid quote terms and act as point of contact.
9. Other works given by immediate supervisor

Job Requirements

1. Degree in civil engineering/ building technology/ construction management
(Degree and/or Certificates in Quantity Surveying is preferred)
2. Minimum 5 years Experienced
3. Business English Level
4. Can work/travel in Myanmar /work outside Yangon
5. No association with gangs or criminal organizations


■ Ideal Candidate will have:

o Interpersonal Skill (Written and oral) Communication Skill
o High Level of Proficiency in business level English (TOEIC Score 600 or above)
o Strong information processing skill
o Computer IT knowledge: Auto CAD, MS office Applications (Excel, Words and PowerPoint)
o Strong Coordination Skill
o Pro-active and attentive
