Job Description

work with factories to arrange rework and develop corrective action plan.

• To lead initiative assuring Marks and Spencer quality standards are clearly understood and maintained at all suppliers
• Provide feedback to team leader regarding supplier/factory performance in audits.
• Develop and maintain working relationships with Direct / Indirect in the region.
• To input quality audits data into company’s database on a timely manner.
(SGS – M&S Quality Inspection database and edi TRACK subject to the system availability)
• Work closely with different development office within the region, including Shanghai, Vietnam and Hong Kong.
• Undertake projects at the discretion of the QA Manager communicated through the Senior Quality Manager.
• Support suppliers in the use of SGS and edi TRACK quality audit tool

Job Requirements

• Have a Textile Degree in Technical Apparel or Textile Science and Manufacturing.
• Minimum 3 years experience in Apparel/Textile quality auditing or manufacturing industry.
• Excellent communication skills with solid people skills and a real team player approach.
• Familiar with UK and/or EU retail market requirements and country or region industry.
• Good understanding in reading and written English. Oral English is advantageous and local provincial dialect/language.
• Are self motivated with strong initiative, analytical and organizational skills.
• Work under high pressure with minimal supervision and ability to travel occasionally.
• Have interest in quality management, defect prevention and consumer satisfaction.
• Computer-literate with good MS Office and specially Excel spread sheet skills.
