To lead and manage the Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) function and monitor and control all aspects of concrete quality supplied to maintain the ongoing profitability.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities
• Set up, maintain and update Quality Control System.
• Train subordinates on QC System and Procedures as well as on technical matters.
• Assist the Director on Departmental matters.
• Coordinate and supervise Destructive and Non-Destructive Testing (both on-site and off-site).
• Supervise and justify material tests.
• Collate and submit QC reports.
• Liaise with customers, consultants, engineers, inspection bodies and suppliers on matters relating to quality assurance and technical matters.
• Review customer requirements together with the Sales & Marketing Department and translate them into design mixes and review test results.
• Assist Plant Manager in conduction trial mixes.
• Coordinate with Plant Managers to conduct investigations on quality deficiencies.
• Conduct site visits to ensure that quality of concrete supplied is within design parameters.
• Coordinate with the Sales and Production Departments to ensure that customer complaints are professionally and efficiently resolved.
• Facilitate testing and monitor cube strength results (internal QA and external site results).
• Audit batching plants and advise corrective, preventive actions.
• Submit monthly/ weekly reports to the Management.

Requirements
• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Related work experience of 5 years.
• Specialist Knowledge of concrete mix design and raw material performance.
• Knowledge and experience of Quality Auditing.
• Analytical Mindset.
• Ability to communicate.
• Must be proactive and positive thinker.
