Responsibilities and Key Activities

-drives improvement of safety performance in the business unit
-monitors legal changes locally and global developments in safety matters and initiates necessary actions
-plans,documents,follows up and monitors the implementation of safety processes and procedures
-involves line management in workplace safety audits
-maintains accident & corrective and preventive actions
-monitors the IIFR
-participates in global safety activities and takes an active role in global initiatives and projects related to safety
-participates in global quarterly Safety Team Meeting to contribute in sharing and implementing best practices and information
-develops and maintains his own competences as safety manager
-drives and supports the development of safety compentences of others

Job Requirements

Professional requirements

- work experience equivalent.

-recognized professtional qualification in health and safety/Project management skills

-Presentation skills

-knowledge and experience of operational process(es) and their continuous improvement through application of Six Sigma,lean manufacturing and/or other proven quality tools and methodologies

-written and spoken english

-basic Quality knowledge in Quality tools,methods,systems
