1. Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes
2. Devise and review specifications for products or processes
3. Set requirements for raw material or intermediate products for suppliers and monitor their compliance
4. Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines as well as legal obligations
5. Document and update inspection results by completing reports and logs
6. Keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calling for repairs
7. Oversee all product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards
8. Inspect final output and compare properties to requirements
9. Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis
10. Submit detailed reports to appropriate executives
11. Be on the lookout for opportunities for improvement and develop new efficient procedures
12. Maintain safe work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations
13. Coach and mentor junior employees; seek opportunities to grow leadership in others
14. Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading technical publications, attending seminars, watching industry videos, etc.
15. Accomplish organization mission by completing related results as needed
16. Communicate and cooperate effectively with relevant departments in the organization
17. Perform other related duties and required of the Production Department
18. Follow instructions from and report to the General Manager and Board of Directors

1. Bachelor degree in manufacturing engineering or relevant field
2. 2+ years in a leadership or Supervisor position
3. Proven work experience in Quality Control field
4. Excellent computer skills, Microsoft Office and Gmail
5. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to teach and explain methodologies
6. Excellent analytical and time-management skills
7. Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
8. Ability to work under strict deadlines
9. Ability to coordinate and work in teams
10. Understanding of manufacturing methods and procedures
11. Certification of quality control (ISO 9000 etc.)
