Job Description

We specialises in the design, manufacture, assembly, installation and commissioning of modern ply-wood furniture.

As a Quantity Surveyor cum Contract Manager, you will be responsible for;

-Provision of timely and accurate schedules of costs and materials for fit-out related projects
-Compilation of detailed tender submissions
-Provision of accurate cost reporting on current and recently completed projects
-Provision of contract and variation pricing and ensuring contract documentation is kept up to date and
the compilation of contract accounts and final accounts
-Ensuring that the project is brought together from start to finish on time and within the budget
-Ensure sufficient subcontract tenders will be available
for tender submission
-Produce tender letters in compliance with the tender
documents
-Place/coordinate materials orders to ensure the timely availability ofkey items to achieve programme
-Provide timely and accurate pricing of contract variations and instructions. Keep contract information current and submit regular costing reports to client.
Ensure site variations are accounted for collated.
-Ensuring Payment are presented in a constantly updated and standardised format, ensuring clarity to enable the Client QS’s to readily identify Contract variations as they arise
-Attending Project and Commercial meetings where appropriate

Job Requirements

-Minimum 5 years’ experience in the interior design and furniture industry
-Bachelor Degree in relevant field
-Basic Contract Law and design knowledge
-Computer Literate – Able to collate information and prepare reports
-English 4 skills
-Experience of drafting contractual correspondence on behalf of the Project Manager
