- To ensure that all items received are in accordance with the specification stated in the Purchase Order and Market List and the quality is of the hotel standard.
- Report to senior receiving clerk and cost controller.
- Liaise with cost controller in providing efficient store receiving and proper storage.
- Liaise with purchasing manager to attain on time delivery.
- Liaise with all departments to pick up the incoming goods for their departmental needs
- Liaise with suppliers in terms of incoming product quality and quantity.
- Receive and check items passing through the receiving area. Ensure that items are of good quality and within the specification stated in the Purchase Order and/or Market List.
- Transfer goods received to their respective destinations properly.
- Coordinate discrepancy noted with purchasing and/or user department.
- Check department received items are acknowledged by heads of departments.
- Prepare Receiving Records and Daily Receiving Record Summary.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the receiving area.
- Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time
