Job Description

• Assists Head, Reinsurance with leading the reinsurance program for the enterprise, acting as a contact for external brokers with regard to communication, reporting and data delivery,
as well as the corporate advocate for planning and placement.

• Works with key stakeholders to identify, create, and monitor various reports and key business metrics.

• To apply the principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions.

• Comfortable leading meetings and facilitating discussion, with ability to facilitate decisions.

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions as appropriate.

• Complete projects as assigned, which may include but are not limited to: data and analysis, industry research, and other various topics.

• Gather, organize and analyze RI quotes received, update Quote.

• To easily interpret the terms and conditions of the contract documents.

• Perform other position related tasks (e.g. participation in projects, initiatives, etc.) as instructed by Supervisor

Job Requirements

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance/Accounting
• Ability to understand financial data
• Superior analytical skills. Strong ability to perform data analysis
• Thorough knowledge of insurance principles and practices including reinsurance, underwriting and marketing guidelines, and claims practices will be an advantage.
• Presentation skills and confidence to present company and product in one-on-one settings or in small groups.
• Excellent communication both verbally and in writing and the ability to articulate complex concepts and conclusions in a simplified, easy to understand way.
• Ability to manage multiple, complex priorities, establish workflows, and meet necessary deadlines.
• Advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, and Access), with advanced working knowledge of Excel Strong.
• Ability to apply the principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions.
• Ability to meet necessary deadlines.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality as appropriate.
