Summary/Objective
The Relationship Manager of Corporate Banking manages relationships with Corporate Banking existing customers. Grows revenue as directed by senior management by successfully prospecting for expanding existing customer relationships.

KEY ACCOUNT ABILITIES:
- Manages a portfolio of credit and non-credit relationships of existing corporate customers of varying size and complexity.
- Sells corporate banking products and other appropriate bank products and services to those prospects and clients, identifying and successfully capitalizing on cross-sell
opportunities and making appropriate referrals.
- Source for quality loans by pre-screening customers to make initial judgment of credit worthiness.
- Actively ensures compliance with Yoma Bank Code of Ethics and all Anti-Money Laundering, information security and suspicious activity reporting requirements, policies
and procedures.
- Originates corporate banking loans by interviewing applicants and determining borrowing needs. Negotiate types of loans, terms and conditions within established
guidelines. Ensure all loan documentation is accurately completed. Assists customers in signing loan documents and makes proper disclosures.
- Obtains and analyzes all necessary financial data and supporting documents on borrowers. Makes recommendations to underwriters/analysts/credit administration or any
other appropriate lending authority.
- Develops and manages a portfolio of major customer relationships by providing consultative advice, products, and services to meet customer needs. Responsible for
increasing the number of major relationships and total profitability of assigned portfolio.
- Revolves around relationship building, idea generation, strategic business discussion, risk management, credit structuring, industry observations, and other matters of
elevated importance.
- Resolves unusual or non-routine inquiries to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Must be highly experienced in credit matters, able to read, interpret, and understand financial statements and credit issues quickly, and capable of strategic thinking to add
value to a diverse set of companies within the portfolio.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Skills
Essential
- Must be able to handle difficult and sensitive client relationships and capable of handling tough negotiations, both to win the deal and to legally document the transaction.
- Should be an independent thinker and self-starter with strong sales skills and excellent credit skills.
- Highly skilled in financial modeling and able to appropriately structure credit
- Must be able to independently assess business risk, taking into consideration capital structures and industry nuances as applicable
- Will require highly developed communication skills and the ability to influence others by persuasively presenting thoughts and ideas to gain commitment and agreement for
proposed ideas and solutions
- Ability to work within a team environment, interact with peers and management within the bank, as well as with the customers and outside support

Education & Special Training
Essential
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or higher and a minimum five years of relevant experience.

Experience

- Must exhibit a history of competency and success in soliciting, selling, developing, servicing and structuring a wide range of secured and unsecured commercial financings,
including complex transactions.
