• Contribute with own expertise of Reporting and Accounting, to the development of a long-term strategy for the OpCo in alignment with GBS, Regions and HGSS business strategy • Manage, co-ordinate and control all Transaction Accounting and Management Reporting outcomes, whether activity is delivered from the HGSS and managed by SLAs, or delivered by employees directly within the OpCo• Plan, coordinate and control each monthly accounting close, as well as the elaboration and reporting of accounting information both internally and externally• Coordinate the OpCo’s reporting model, providing all the necessary information for decision-making purposes, as well as a quality analysis regarding the development of the OpCo’s main key drivers• Coordinate and control the preparation of the consolidated Management Reports with the aim of supporting the OpCo’s performance analysis and decision-making• Lead the team that will work in partnership with the HGSS to achieve high standard financial processes• Anticipate, plan, address and resolve complex customer service issues with internal and external customers, including vendors• Champion use of Service Management processes including issue escalation/resolution processes across the OpCo and HGSS• Lead the OpCo ‘sending’ aspects of migration of activity from the OpCo to the HGSS, whilst managing the day-to-day operations of the OpCo• Champion Lean methodology and a culture of standardization and improvement within the OpCo• Support the development/improvement and implementation of processes, tools, templates and support systems, in collaboration with the HGSS and other functions within the OpCo• Lead, guide and direct the OpCo team and contribute to the development of a customer led culture• Manage employees including recruitment, performance management and (career) development• Drive his/her own personal development in leadership, functional competencies and business knowledge by creating, agreeing and implementing his/her Development Plan
•Proven working experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor or Finance Manager•Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases•Ability to manipulate large amounts of data•Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations•High attention to detail and accuracy•Ability to direct and supervise•Language Proficiency in English (4 skills)
