Job Description

A Big Opportunity for ...

• To attend meetings with clients / prospects as required and to provide support to the department Head
• To produce Draft & Final survey materials (including questionnaires, discussion guides show-cards etc...) and translations in a timely manner and ensure that fieldwork procedures (Sampling, QC reports etc...) are carried out as required.
• To conduct project training to field interviewers; briefing and de-briefing
• To produce or supervise the translation of focus group discussions, and produce accurate, high quality transcripts and associated materials within agreed schedule.
• To analyze research results and produce summary, top-line and draft reports and distribute the reports (after Management approval) to the appropriate internal and external recipients within agreed deadlines.

Job Requirements

• Suitable degree in Social Science, Psychology from an accredited university/college; Master degree holder or Repatriate preferred
• Working knowledge of database and/or statistical analysis software (e.g. SPSS, MS Excel, MS Word, ACCESS)
• Strong interest in social research; familiarity with social, economic and political situations in Myanmar
• Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research
• Fluency in both English and Myanmar
• Willingness to travel within the country
• Have a working knowledge of database and/or statistical analysis software
