Purpose of the role: Involved in all facets of projects from commissioning up to reporting. It is the RE's responsibility to brief Field Work, conduct moderation (after adequate training) and prepare all materials up to the reporting of results with guidance from senior team members.


Key responsibilities

- Manage projects according to agreed timelines
- Escalate changes/challenges to team head/client in a timely fashion.
- Input into screener design and FGD guide
- Brief fieldwork recruitment team and oversee progress
- Moderate focus groups and interviews (following training). This will include regular travel to field sites outside Yangon.
- Taking notes during client meetings, including client briefs, presentations and fieldwork
- Input into developing proposals, including background research on relevant market sector
- Contribute to client report development with guidance from the Research Manager
- Give input in reporting/presentation to clients
- Assist on commercial management including contracting and billing to ensure that it is on time and accurate

Technical skills

· Understanding about market research process & methodologies: Qualitative v quantitative, focus groups, ethnographies, desk research, surveys etc & know when to apply them)

· Ability to sort and categories data

· Understand business issues and market dynamics


Interpersonal Skills

· Good project management skill

· Team work, good communication

· Organised

· Proactive & positive

· Strong sense of client service

Experience

· Ideally, 1-2 years of research experience or related

· Minimum holding relevant background, like consumer behavior
