Responsibilities:
• To spearhead the research and development of new products in line with the long-term strategies and the business plans.
• To establish the long-term direction for packaging development and oversee the development works of product packaging in line with the business plans.
• To centralize and streamline the R & D functions of the company in terms of human resources and existing facilities.
• To establish long-term collaboration programs with local or overseas research institutions with the objective of taking the company towards a leading position in product innovation.
• To provide technical advisory services to customers, marketing, production, and commercial colleagues in a timely and effective manner.
• To recommend new techniques, processes and equipment which would add value and improve the standards and quality of products at the manufacturing sites.
• To play a key role in assessing the capabilities of potential contract manufacturers.
• To provide leadership and guidance to the R & D team.

Job Requirements

Position Requirements:
• Minimum Degree in Chemistry, Food Technology or other related disciplines
• At least 10 years working experience with minimum 5 years at senior managerial level in R & D in FMCG industry.
• Hands on experience in research and development of beverage products.
• Good Inter-personal and team building skills
• Communication skills – both oral and written, preferably with Mandarin language ability
• Sense of urgency
• Creativity and Resourcefulness
• Positive attitude, integrity and honesty
