Overall Responsibility
• Use effective project management and control systems to regularly
report on progress to the Project Manager
• Act as primary point of contact for the construction supervision of
the project between the contractor, client and consultant team
• Prepare combined time line (Civil, M&E, MIS) with detail items depending on Master Plan
• Monitor progress of construction against the programme and take steps to avoid delay
• Project progress reporting (Daily, Weekly & Monthly)
• Conduct daily toolbox meetings with crews and subcontractors and weekly meeting
• Establish and enforce effective project quality procedures
• Implement quality control practices in accordance with the project quality control plan.
• Identify, manage and report project risks
• Place an emphasis on safe construction practices (zero incident) and on maintaining a high quality of construction. Lead by example in driving safe practices on site
• Promptly and accurately complete investigations and reports on all near misses and all personal injury or property damage accidents.
• Evaluate, select and adapt construction management and control techniques, procedures and criteria to suit job tasks and devices and implement solutions to problems encountered
• Maintain close contact and good working relationship with customer representatives.
• Manage software and systems required for the administration of the project construction supervision
• Ensuring all procedures and calculations are submitted to the Project Manager or assigned person by management for review and approval.
• Evaluate and approves design changes, modifications, specifications, and drawing releases.
• Prepare a labor plan and weekly project work plan.
• Identify out of scope work and follow IBTC standard procedures to record, obtain approval, and execute the extra work.
• Plan site layout for efficient execution of the work including support facilities, storage areas, and work access ways.
• Plan ahead for sufficient material and equipment resources for efficient and economical installation.
• Prepare and submit project reports and maintain files in accordance with IBTC standard procedures.
• Maintain a daily diary or log of work activities, meetings, and significant conversations or verbal directions.
• Complete including punch lists and rectify and project deficiencies.
• Hold valid first aid and supervisor training certificates.
• Review and approve SWPs for assigned projects.
• Undertake any other activity as reasonably requested by management

Key Areas of Accountabilities
• Building Maintenance of all manufacturing Plant & compound maintenance concerning with civil works
• All Project sites in Group of Company compounds

Skills or Competencies Requirement
• Demonstrated knowledge of methods of construction practices and project execution.
• Training and practical knowledge of construction trades.
• Must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
• Must have excellent communication skills and related team-building skills required to instruct, motivate, and manage field employees and to communicate effectively with customers.
• Must work collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.

• Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance in accordance with project and company work hours.
• Must be able to travel and complete extended assignments in the field away from home with limited opportunity to travel home.

Job Requirements

Experience & Educational Requirements
• Should possess a recognized degree in suitable discipline.
• B.E (Civil)
• 5 to 10 years experiences in construction field works
2 years experiences in construction management
• Must be computer literate and familiar with email, Microsoft Word and able to prepare Power Point Presentations, able to use Auto CAD DWG, Microsoft Office (Project)
