1. General Responsibilities
• Manage consultant to deliver fully coordinated design
• Coordinate all Technical aspects of the project in conjunction with other disciplines
• Answer contractor’s technical querries
• Perform other duties as requested and directed by the Project Manager
• Will be responsible to the Project Manager

2. Design & Documentation Review
• Review all IFC drawings issued by the consultants and make sure they are fully coordinated with other disciplines
• Review and approve all contractor’s Shop-Drawings
• Review and Manage with the assistance of the consultant contractor’s RFI
• Assist the Senior CM in reviewing contractor’s method statements and other submitted QA/QC documents

3. Construction
• Complete a regular site walk to visually assess the progress of works on site
• Ensure that both SPA DSP Supervisor and the Contractor are using the correct set of drawings on site
• Review record / site diary of Contractor and 3rd Party QA/QC on site and of any incidences that occur
o Review against submission of record by Site Engineer for tracking of on-site personnel
• Assist 3rd Party QA/QC to conduct their scope of works if requested
• Attend testing conducted by contractor and complete and keep SPA DPS records of test results
• Raise any observed quality related issues or contractor non-conformances and prepare a Non-Conformance Notification for issuance Senior Construction Manager
• Submit all finalized paperwork to Document Control for recording and archiving

4. EH&S Responsibilities
• Report safety breaches to Safety Officers
• Take immediate action to prevent further safety breaches of any safety breach witnessed prior to reporting to safety officers

5. Meeting Requirements
• Attend kick off / start up meetings
• Attend weekly contractor construction site meeting, including
o Construction progress
o Technical
o Safety items
o QA/QC items
o Site coordination (traffic movement, lay down areas, etc.)
• Attend design coordination meetings
• Attend safety meetings
• Chair adhoc construction meetings
• Other meetings as required

6. Reporting
• Production of Monthly Report Construction related sections

• Bachelor Degree of Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 8 years hand-on experience on Mechanical design
• Must have experience with large commercial and industrial Mechanical projects (Hotel experience preferred)
• Fluency in English
