Job Description

A Great Opportunity for ...

1. Identifies Key Market Strategies by:
• Identifying opportunities for incremental revenue through analyses.
• Establishes differential pricing based on market segments, demand, positioning…. etc.
2. Forecasts demand:
• By day, by segment.
• Leads forecast meetings to communicate forecast and to coordinate strategies.
3. Optimization:
• Implements inventory controls to maximize RevPAR.
• Optimizes revenue for entire hotel Rooms, F & B and Catering.
• Drive up-selling efforts.
4. Direct Reservations and Distribution:
• Trains department on Revenue Management techniques and its execution.
• Manages Reservations goals.
• Provides daily/weekly selling guidelines/strategies for agents.
• Ensure no channel conflict in distribution.
• Maximize CMD.
5. Competitive Research & Market Intelligence:
• Sets up System of Competitive Price Shopping
• Continuously monitor Competitor performance, strategies, demand, supply…etc.
• Good use of 3rd Party Competitive Research Tools (Fraser, Hotelligence) or Travel Websites.
6. Drive Revenue Management Culture throughout hotel:
• Educates all hotel staff on Revenue Management concepts and techniques (overselling, pricing, upselling, status…).
• Assist F & B, Catering and other departments on setting up Revenue Management activities (data-collection, spreadsheet tools, pricing….).
7. Actively contribute to Starwood Revenue Management network:
• Establishes open, direct relationship with Area RM Champion.
• Regularly checks and Intranet information and contribute to discussions.
8. Assists the Director of Sales & Marketing in the planning and development process of Business Plan and Budgets for the hotel.
9. Develops and monitors pricing/market segment strategies to meet hotels revenue goals, particularly to stimulate demand during periods of low demand.
10. Analyses and reports on the success/failure of different revenue management initiatives from time to time.
11. Oversees reservations sales department and its associates to ensure all tasks and work are performed to standard and completed as scheduled.
12. Implements and maintains a reservations sales and front office up selling the program.
13. Review competitors pricing and status through GDS/Internet/other reports.
14. Evaluates group requests to maximize total revenue.
15. Leads Revenue Management meetings and advises the Management on a necessary remedy or follow up actions.
16. Trains and develops subordinates according to corporate succession initiatives.
17. Be alive to new ideas and system which could benefit the department and hotel.
18. Promote the hotel and Wyndham product and service knowledge in order to explain services and facilities to guests.
19. Guard hotel secrets.
20. Abide by the Wyndham Review System.
21. Abide by the Hotel’s Policies and Procedures, Wyndham Code of Business Conduct and the hotel’s Associate Handbook.
22. Carry out other tasks as directed by your supervisors

Well-developed marketing & analytical skills, preferably a working knowledge of hotel operations. Advanced knowledge of the following software:
• Opera/Geac IPS
• Delphi Sales & Catering (or similar)
• Topline Prophet (where applicable)

• Presentation Skills
