Responsibilities
Risk Management Function
• Establish risk management policies, procedures, guidelines, and tools.
• Identify and analyse relevant risks such as external, strategic, financial, operational and social risks to see their likelihood of occurring and severity of their impacts to the company.
• Develop risk scoring, risk mapping and risk appetites and work with Board of Director and Management to design risk mitigation strategies and ensure the effective implementation of the risk mitigation strategies.
• Work with Management to build risk culture across the company so that every staff will defence to prevent, protect and prepare the company from/to cope with any type of risks.
• Develop and conduct risk and compliance guidance and trainings to related employees.
Compliance Function
• Establish compliance policies, procedures, guidelines, and tools.
• Conduct periodic internal reviews to ensure that compliance procedures are followed; conduct the internal investigation if any compliance issues arose.
• Ensure that the company is 100% compliance at all time to relevant rules and laws, regulations and covenants required by government, regulators, lenders, shareholders and other stakeholders.
• Maintain documentation of compliance activities, complaints received or investigation outcomes.
• Manage and direct the development or implementation of compliance-related policies and procedures throughout an organization; disseminate written policies and procedures related to compliance activities.
• Ensure the areas of non-compliance are dealt with or associated risks are appropriately highlighted to the Chief Executive Officer and the Board of Directors.

Job Requirements

Requirements
• A degree in Business Administration. Those with MA or MBA is preferred.
• Must have at least 3 or more years of similar experience and similar position/capacity. Those from the banking or microfinance industry will be an added advantage.
• Must be knowledgeable in with corporate governance and regulatory risks as well as skills in conducting non-compliance occurrences.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Must be able to speak and write English language fluently.
• Good computer literacy – proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Highly self-motivated and possess confidence, initiative and high energy or drive.
