Summary of Responsibility Scope:Safety Inspector of Safety & Quality Control Department is responsible for implementing and enforcing safety policies to help reduce accident-related costs and prevent losses due to accidents. Where appropriate, they advise on changes of work procedures and how to implement them and provide training, tools and techniques to enable others to achieve safety standards.Primary Job Descriptions(1) Prepare and maintain variety of safety records for projects assigned(2) Prepare written agendas, summaries of issues and action plans for reviews by senior department leader and others as needed(3) Actively involves enforcing company safety practices by conducting daily tool-box meeting for direct workers at site, enforce use of personal protective equipments at sites, ensuring safety signs put up in prominent locations, observing safety precautions and overall risk assessment before work and report unsafe practices immediately and issue stop-work orders in unsafe work condition(4) Support project team in client meetings to discuss with clients on effective safety control programs specific to the project(5) Assist Safety Officer in monitoring compliance of safety policies and perform change requirements(6) Assist Safety Officer in carrying out overall risk assessments of organization in terms of quality and safety to plan mitigation of exposed risks(7) Assist Safety Officer in outlining safe operational procedures and conduct awareness trainings throughout the organization(8) Recommend changes to working practices that are safe and comply with regulations to project team and management team(9) Review customer requirements against safety policy and make sure the policy and standard of the organization meets customer expectation(10) Keeping records of inspection findings and producing reports that suggest improvements(11) All injuries, accidents and near-miss as well as dangerous occurrence are immediately reported to departmental heads and project managers while all incident reports are prepared directly to the Management (12) Assist Safety Officer in recording of incidents and accidents and product statistics for Management review
