• Provides appropriate safety and health, accident prevention, and investigation training for managers and supervisors.
• Assists management in the annual inspection of workplaces to assure safe and healthful conditions for workers. Prepares appropriate notices for management to issue for abatement of any identified hazards.
• Provides promotional materials ad develops and administers recognition systems to promote safe and healthful work performance.
• Responsible investigating accidents and developing measures to prevent recurrences.
• Ensures company’s compliance with the provision of the Act ad any regulations.
• Ensures compliances under company Safety Policy & Procedures.
• Hands on assistance in the ongoing development, implementation and continuous improvement on OSH Management Systems.
• Develop, implement and review company OSH Programs, Policies, Procedures and Risk Assessment to ensure compliances with Legislation and customer requirements.
• Coordinate and liaise with regulatory bodies.
• To provide support to any officer or colleague in carrying out his duty under Act or any regulations made under the Act.
• To notify immediately by quickest means available and send report within7 days in approved form in case of death or seriously bodily injury or occupational poisoning or occupational disease occurred at the job site.
• To record and maintain a register of all accidents, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning and occupational disease.
• Keep up to date with changes to the legislation, standards and codes of practice that will impact on OHS ad communicate to all stakeholders.
• Provide training and guidance to safety representatives in the implementation OHS management systems.
• Advice management on the measures to be taken in the interests of the safety and health of employees in the work place.
• Inspect the workplace to determine whether any machinery, plant, equipment, substance, appliance or process liable to cause injuries to any person working in the workplace.
• Investigate any accident, near miss accident, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning or occupational disease, that happened at the work place.
• To assist the employer or safety and health committee in organizing and implementing occupational safety and health programs in work place.
• To provide full support for the safety and health committee in any inspection of the place of work for the purpose of checking the effectiveness and efficacy of any measures taken in compliance with the Act or any regulations made under the Act.
• Carry out any other instruction made by the management or person in charge of workplace on any matters pertaining to safety and health in the workplace.
• Submit monthly report pertaining the activities to Management.

• Possess minimum diploma in workplace safery and health
• Required skill(s): MS Office.
• At least 6 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
