An Exciting Opportunity for ...

• Take a leading role in safety management by demonstrating and promoting safe work practices at
all times
• Provide positive leadership in safety practices and display exemplary safety behaviours
• Identify work place hazards and assist supervisors and workers to implement effective controls
• Preparing and presenting safety themes at toolbox talks for all departments
• Conducting workplace inspections to ensure that employees are following safe work procedures
• Updating inspection, Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and other safety information into the safety system
• Translating safety documents from English to Myanmar
• Gathering data, compiling information and preparing reports is an essential part of this role
• Assisting in incident investigations
• Perform other duties as directed by immediate supervisor

Job Requirements

• Degree qualification is desirable, but not essential
• Previous work experience in a similar role, safety qualifications/trainings is not required but will be
highly regarded
• Understanding of safety principles will be highly regarded
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
• Good computer skills in MS office applications (Word, Excel and Power Point).
• Ability to live and work in a remote area
