Job Description

-Engage at all levels of the organization to lead achieving a strong zero injury safety culture
-Lead Daily Toolbox meeting
-Organize and schedule required safety staff and first aid coverage
-Supervise the identification and remediation of hazardous workplace conditions
-Investigate, analyze, and report on any accidents or unsafe events and suggests remedial and preventative actions
-Perform behavior based safety observations of work being completed and provide feedback on safe and at-risk behaviors
-Develop site specific health and safety programs, policies and training to eliminate or control risk and ensure compliance
-Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions
-Ensure that the connection of power lines is in line with safety principles
-Check Daily, Weekly and Monthly checklist
-Conduct comprehensive on-site safety assessments/inspections and verify effective corrective actions are being completed
-Collect and report on health and safety awareness, issues and statistics
-Accomplish all tasks as appropriately assigned or requested by Management

Job Requirements

-Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in science, engineering or EHSS related discipline
-Minimum 5 years Health and Safety field experience.
-Deep understanding of legal health and safety guidelines
-Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment
-Excellent organizational and motivational skills
-Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability
-Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
-Proficient in English
-Proficient in using computers and related software
