• Develop a strategy to acquire Merchants and Billers partners segments business opportunities to achieve targets
• To identify, build relationship/partnerships with merchants & biller partners and manage their performance and contribution to building the WM partner ecosystem
• Manage the relationship with strategic partners
• Design and execute partner pricing and acquisition incentive framework
• Be accountable for Partner Full Life Cycle – pitching, signing, onboarding and account management
• Develop and maintain a solid understanding of all WM Products and services
• Drive partner engagement towards a higher use of digital / app channel rather than the agent channel
• Build, manage and develop future partners acquisition team by leading, coaching, supporting & motivating through technical & commercial knowledge, communication transparency, winning spirit, fighting resilience and performance acknowledgement
• Coach and provide necessary training and development to all subordinates to increase their capabilities, productivity, creativity and motivation that will support both current functional goals and long-term business growth
• Promote: WM’s partner growth in Myanmar, creates networks and promotes initiatives with partner organizations, strength partnerships in the market and in country
• Performance:
o Develop business model and strategies for WM Partners and to be operational within the set timeframe
o Set joint targets for Monthly Active Users, volume and value of transactions per partner and track achievement on these targets
• Client focus and orientation: Anticipates constraints in the delivery of WM’s services and proactively identifies, develops and discusses solutions or alternatives for partners
• Results-based improvement and management: Identifies business strategies using a fact-based approach; Ensure effective operation of WM partner strategies and business sustainability; Pre-emptive business risks and constrains by setting out Policies and prevention plan; conceptualizes more effective approaches to WM partner development and implementation and to mobilizing and using resources

Job Requirements

Experience:
• Previous sales or acquisition experience a MUST
• 4 years of relevant experience in digital innovation & delivery, product management, solution management, brand functionality at local or international organizations within payments, banking or mobile financial services
• Outstanding subject matter expertise of digital channel, payments or financial services
Education and Qualifications:
• University degree in technology, Computer Science, Economics, International Relations, Business Administration and Management or other relevant fields
• Experience in handling of web-based management systems and advanced program of data analytics
Functional skills and knowledge areas:
• Ability to lead effectively, mentoring as well as conflict resolution skills
• Outstanding communication skills
• Experience with people management and development
• Prior engagement in strategy development and execution
• Change management and adaptability
• Demonstrated decision making capability
• Ability to drive customer behavior and provide excellent customer experience
• Ability to lead strategic planning, result-based management and reporting
Language requirements;
• Fluent in English and knowledge of local language (Burmese) is an asset
