Responsibilities
o To keep confidential all company information including though not limited to: costing, databases, expenses, OEM’s, employee and all other information.
o Be solution driven; focus on finding the right solution for long-term customer relationship development. Sell in the consultative sales solution manner with the partnering approach.
o Regularly maintaining “CRM” and other company management systems as required by your direct report manager and company policy.
o Sales of Heavy Equipment in line with the company policy.
o Actively striving for best practices in customer satisfaction.
o Preparation of sales forecasts as required and activity striving to meet targets.
o Provide a professional and appropriate to approach customers to support business growth, brand differentiation, sales margin and customer loyalty.
o Work closely with the financial team to provide solutions to customers that require these services.
o Build a significant knowledge of technical product knowledge.
o Carry out regular production demonstrations in conjunction with company directives.
o Weekly sales reporting including update competitors stock and pricing to management.
o Extensive travelling throughout the assigned territory. Minimum 70% of the time is away.
o Work with all stockholders including aftersales service & original equipment manufacturers (OEM’s) to provide smooth and seamless information and workflow to achieve efficient and effective management.
o Direct intervention and resolution of customer related grievances.

Job Requirements

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
 Ideally educated to degree level machinery ee

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
ESSENTIAL:
 Hands-on heavy equipment sales experience ideally gained across a range of industries.
 At least 5 years Sales work experience.
 Computer literate in current Microsoft software products.
 Resilient, practical problem solving approach. Able to get things done and over-come obstacles.
 Good customer service orientation & presentation – experience of handling customer issues.
 Fluent in English language
 Sales or Marketing degree qualification with Mechanical/ Construction or Agricultural operational experience or a Mechanical/Agricultural or Construction degree qualification with sales experience.
 Current car drivers License.
