Job Description

Account Management

• Customer relationship management
• Effectively manage a portfolio of customers.
• Schedule c ustomer meetings
• Prepare for Sales meetings with clear agenda and desired outcomes
• Follow th e Value Selling principles
• Proactively and timely document highlights of sales meetings addressing areas of concern as well as opportunity
• Work closely toget her with individual accounts and develop short term as well as long term strategy plans.
• Clearly mapping stakeholders and understanding their needs
• Delivering individual budgets (Volume & Yield)
• Increase sales p erformance (efficiency & effectiveness) to improve customer satisfaction
• Implement sales strategy & commercial priorities for individual customer base

Yield Management

• Create and manage specific customer plans allowing Maersk to maximize its yield potential
• Keep abreast of market developments and report relevant information to Commercial Teams
• Proactively assist Finance and Customer Service in clearing outstanding invoices and longstanding containers respectively

Value Selling through Pipeline Management

• Use Market Mapping and SalesForce.com to identify total potential volume for the customer and new opportunities to grow share of wallet
• Qualify custom er opportunities using Value Selling methodology
• Build strong customer specific value propositions linking Maersk

Job Requirements

• Fluent with Chinese culture and a good track record in servicing customers or established networks in Chinese community.
• Min 3 years experience from Logistics Service with strong background in sales experiences
• Ability to prospect for new accounts and opportunities
• Proactive, assert ive and result oriented
• Ability to Grow and up-sell to existing accounts, focusing on growth nd profitability
• Strong ability to qualify leads
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Successfully mana ge negotiation process
• Strong ability to develop winning customer value propositions
• Leverages internal and external financial data to build winning strategies and understand account economics
• Build and execute winning account strategies
• Build strong and lasting relationships at all levels, focusing on decision makers and influencers
• Build and maintain a strong network of customers
• Thoroughly understands customer drivers, needs and requirements
• Strong team player while taking responsibility for own performance
