Sales Manager (Retail Chain & Wholesale)

Our growing company is seeking to hire a Sales Manager who will be responsible for supervising and organizing our sales team. You will be in charge of managing organizational sales by developing business plans, meeting planned goals, and coordinating with our marketing department on lead generation. You will also be tasked with overseeing the activities and performance of your sales team by tracking sales goals, setting individual sales targets, and facilitate the on-going training of your salespeople.

A Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is required. In order to succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a sale team. Previous experience in a sales-related role is a must.

1. Team Management

- Number of staff 30 to 50 people. Management across 6-8 stores (YGN and MDY)

- Analytical and Management Skills:
Understand the requirements of the business access and align the requirements accordingly which may include sale staff recruitment/replacement, sales training and performance reviews. Responsibility will not be limited to overseeing the activities and performance of the sales team, on-going training of your salespeople, developing your sales team through motivation, counselling and product knowledge education, and understanding our ideal customers and how they relate to our products.

- Interpersonal Skills:
Understand the aspirations and grievances of each member of the team to ensure they are motivated and inspired (such as career advancements, training, pay grade, etc.).

2. Operations Management

- Operation Process and System Implementation: Establish systems and procedures to ensure that sales team is communicating clearly to avoid misunderstandings and maximise efficiency with other teams from different departments – especially closely coordinating with marketing.

- Implement the procedures and enforce and track to make sure the systems and procedures are followed, for better customer service and customer care.

3. Planning and Analysis

- Cost Control: Managing cost control from different outlets.
- Budgeting: Planning & estimating weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly budgets.
- Sales HR Planning: Interview/ recruit/ terminate salespeople when necessary.
- Sales Salary Calculation: Check sales commissions, OT, other incentives and KPI bonuses for all sales employees in a timely manner.

4. Sales Plan and Reporting

- Sales Plan: Managing organizational sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue and expense controls – while tracking sales goals and reporting results as necessary.

- Excellent time management, organization and delegation skills
- Experience in customer relationship management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience managing and directing and leading a sale team.
- Ability to travel to other cities & manage over 30 to 50 sales staff.
- Dedication to providing great customer service.
