The Sales Training Manager works in conjunction with the sales and marketing departments to recruit, hire and train highly effective salespeople.
The position entails managing and working closely with sales staff to meet goals set forth by sales and marketing. He will also be expected to collect and interpret data regarding training processes and salespeople’s performance.

• Recruit and hire salespeople to work within the sales department. Identify and assess future and current training needs through Job analysis, Annual performance.
• Complete training for all new hires and continual training for entire sales staff. Draw an overall or individualized training, development plan and deploy a wide variety of training methods.
• Conduct effective induction and orientation sessions, discipline and provide coaching to salespeople as necessary. Monitor and evaluate training program’s effectiveness, success and ROI periodically and report on them
• Engage in one-on-one reviews with salespeople to maximize performance. Resolve any specific problems and tailor training programs as necessary
• Strategize new training methods to be implemented. Provide opportunities for ongoing development
• Partner with sales and marketing departments to set and progress towards goals and Manage training budget.
• Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practices Requirements. Collect and interpret data to determine effectiveness of training techniques
• Write and publish training materials in Local language so that all team members understand and implement in the market place.

• Proven work experience as a training manager
• Track record in designing and executing successful training programs
• Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively
• Strong writing and record keeping ability for reports and training manuals
• Good computer and database skills
