- Prepare a challan for withholding tax collected from suppliers & land owners and submit payment to IRD
- Obtain form 31 from suppliers for the commercial tax to offset
- Collect withholding tax challans from government and return it to land owners through Site Acquisition team and suppliers
- Prepare and calculate a list of commercial tax to be paid, offset with the suppliers Form 31 and submit payment to IRD
- Prepare quarterly return and annual commercial tax return
- Keep abreast of good relationship with IRD
- Make payment of Personal Income Tax in coordination with human resources team
- Upload Sales invoice to SAGE system and record the sales invoice list to AR tracker
- Coordinate with Commercial/Billing team for the month end revenue accruals estimation
- Verify revenue figures to previous months and investigate and comment on the large variance/discrepancy
- Record PTD license fee accrual based on the monthly revenue reported figure
- Prepare CT lodgment and filing based on the monthly revenue reported figure excluding the provision
- Reconciliation of monthly account receivable (including matching in SAGE and reconcile GL balance to AR tracker)
- Report monthly AR aging and collectible for waterfall estimation
- Archive all documents related to taxation and sales invoices.
- Assist in Tax Health Check, Audit and other Ad Hoc duties as advised by Financial Controller

- An internationally recognized accounting diploma
- Minimum 5 years work experience in related field
- Strong knowledge in Myanmar Taxation Law and Practices
- Ability to pay attention to details
- Fluency in English & Myanmar is a must
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and step up to face any challenges
- Good problem-solving skills
- Experience working in the telecommunications industry or in an international company is an advantage
- Excellent MS office skills, especially in MS Excel
- Experience working with an accounting software
- Excellent Planning and organizational skills
- Ability to work with tight deadlines and work under pressure
