Senior Android Developer

Oway is looking for an Android Developer to join our team of developers! We want a developer that possesses passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits. You will work with our team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation of our mobile applications.

Responsibilities

Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Work with third-party data sources and API's
Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Job Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent practical experience
- At least 1- 3 years of Android development
- Have published at least one original Android app
- Experience with Android SDK
- Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Understanding and experience working in both agile and waterfall development methods
- Excellent teamwork skills and technically conversant
- Good time management skills
- Curiosity to understand underlying challenge or goal behind a client requirement and empathy to understand both clients and their customers
- Ability to overcome adversity and obstacles with creative problem
- Written or oral communication skills both in English and Myanmar
