ROLE PURPOSE
Yoma Bank’s Digital Product team is responsible for developing and managing the bank’s digital financial services. We are committed to developing products and channels to service customers outside of the branch network. Our team operates as a design practice. We start with inspiration about how to make financial services work for customers. We gather information about customers and markets. We iterate through prototype tests with customers until we make the solution work. And then we engineer the solution to scale. Our Senior Business Analysts are responsible for articulating new business and customer value propositions and as requirements for digital product development. This role is a critical connection between new, innovative ideas and their translation into products delivered to the market.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a practitioner, you will work under the direction of the Head of Product Management, and alongside a multidisciplinary team to deliver a suite of digital and service product design development projects, from initial definition of value proposition and discovery through to prototyping, pilot and launch. On specific products and projects, you will work closely with the Product Owner and colleagues in business, UX, technology and operations to define and articulate business requirements and process solutions that meet them in a simple and elegant way. Specifically, you will be responsible for:
Providing leadership and direction to a team to ensure goals and objectives are met according to plan.
Being the voice of user and business requirements for the product you work on
Playing a key role in facilitating an effective agile development process, specifically by generating requirements are well identified and captured in the form of user stories
Maintaining a high level of quality in your documentation of requirements, both through business rues documentation and User Story writing.
Coaching other junior team members in key activities of the role, from Use Case Modeling to facilitating requirements gathering sessions to writing Acceptance Criteria.
Designing scenarios of use, product flows, application maps and other artifacts that articulate product design
Driving engagement with stakeholders across our Training, Marketing and CCC teams to inform your generation and refinement of SOPs, training guides, FAQs and other tools to support Go-To-Market activities
Establishing a deep understanding of Yoma Bank IT systems, products and operational processes
Ensuring customer-driven process and product design, considering user pain points & usability test results in refinements and proposals for product improvements
Using market & industry knowledge to deliver a well-positioned final process
Setting ambitious and clear end-state process documentation and communicating ‘the new process ’ effectively to key stakeholders and the rest of the team
Identifying and executing process changes, and providing expert support on key process and technology initiatives
Continuous development of your product backlog, ensuring all items are clearly described, estimated and prioritized
Overseeing and supporting User Acceptance Testing for your product.

Knowledge & Skills
Essential
Working knowledge of key contemporary product development practices, including business analysis, agile software development /scrum
Passionate about making financial services work for everyday life, using cutting edge technology and design methods.
Excellent competency in computer (MS Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) and presentation skills
Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and integrity Comprehensive knowledge of existing journey processes
Strong communication skills with ability to communicate complex messages and trade-offs and tell a compelling story
Possesses rigor in execution and attention to detail and passion to challenge status quo to find new solutions and drive out of the box ideas – loves and embraces change

Your education and work experience will need to show that you have the necessary skills.
Experience
Essential
Has worked in a product development environment before, alongside Product Owners and UX designers
Has experience bringing products to market, and can collaborate with teammates from business intelligence, technology and data analytics to shape and refine a product.
At least 5 years of experience in Agile Development, with specific BA (or similar) experience preferred, should be confident in managing the backlog
A working understanding of financial products and services.
