The Senior Business Partnership Manager will also lead the EDGE Certification and Accreditation process, and provide post-assessment support to the companies. He/She will drive membership recruitment by marketing BCGE services through a variety of in-person meetings, presentations, and networking events. To support BCGE sustainability objectives, the position shall support the Country Director in business development and project management activities. He/she will oversee BCGE’s internal operation functions and ensure that these are in accordance with policies and practises. The position should be a proactive leader and change agent, someone who can successfully balance member’s needs with association’s services and objectives to provide integrated workplace gender equality. This position also need to support closely to Country Director.

EDGE Certification & Accreditation Process
 Coordinate with Investing In Women and EDGE, in initiating, implementing and monitoring in the entire phases of EDGE Certification process
 Work with IW and BCGE for EDGE Accreditation process of BCGE
 Overview and advise on respective contracting and agreement process in implementing EDGE Certification process
 Encourage and support members to achieve GE targets using EDGE
 Work with member companies to support implementation of GE workplace strategies and
measure success
 Manage collection of data from members to inform key stakeholders and build business case for investing in women
 Design and develop a customised pre-assessment tool to intro WGE concept and WEE
 Provide professional advises from HR and Business Development perspective in implementing EDGE certification process
 Maintain a close relationship with EDGE strategy, keeping abreast on developments related to the EDGE methodology
 Work on strategic positioning strategy of BCGE base on EDGE Certification process
 Identify needs from companies and work with Country Director, BCGE team, IW and EDGE in developing/reviewing BCGE service packages
 Develop monitoring and evaluation process collaborating with IW or respective service provider that trainings, workshops provided by companies and BCGE are met with objectives
 Develop and nurture partnership with respective organisations for inclusive culture of workplace gender equality initiation
 Ensure that confidentiality of data from companies are in strictly in compliance with BCGE principles and regulation, partner’s requirement according to respective laws and regulations, local laws and regulations
 Analyse data trends and metrics from EDGE Certification and its related activities to inform business decisions
 Conduct monthly/quarterly meetings with member companies for BCGE service provision on EDGE before and after EDGE Certification process
 Make sure service provision from BCGE for EDGE Certification process to member companies are in line with service provision standards of EDGE, IW and BCGE


Business Development
 Support the Country Director in achieving the membership growth objectives and developing business strategy for BCGE sustainability
 Support the CD in developing proposals and design pitches for prospective members
 Review contracts and agreements of BCGE and member companies for respective implementing activities and advise to Country Director for further required processes
 Review and respond to queries to BCGE relating with membership, EDGE Certification, BCGE services etc.
 Support to Country Director in reviewing new projects proposal and designs, identifying needs of market and BCGE strategy for required discussions and meetings
 Support to Country Director in reviewing partnership agreement and contracts/agreements for operational processes in collaboration with respective department management
 Monitor provided services to ensure that professional services are met
 Maintain awareness of the BCGE in the market, business and work plans implementation which needs to go as set targets, competitiveness in the market in timely manner
 Initiate and participate in developing service package of BCGE in coordinating with IW
 Making sure that services provided by BCGE are accredited with international standards
 Coordinate and mediate project issues when rises; work together with respective responsible persons when required
Collaborating with IW, BCGE, member companies and respective partners in making sure the effectiveness of provided trainings, workshops by measuring the performance of attendees in quarterly M&E process Marketing
 Lead the development of marketing plan that positions BCGE as leading organization for Workplace Gender Equality in Myanmar
 Develop a marketing plan for BCGE services by researching market data, membership trends, and other pertinent information
 Market research to international development for opportunities for business BCGE
Identify potential members in the market and follow for respective client meeting


Diversity and Inclusion
 Provide expert consultancy on diversity and inclusion, specifically workplace gender equality services to companies where required
 Be an expert resource on WGE for companies IW program and its staff and where required DFAT
 Develop and deliver training to companies including BC staffs on performance measures and strategies to advance WGE

Job Requirements

Education  The Senior Business Partnership Manager MUST have a bachelor’s degree in Business Management or MBA or equivalent degree. Possessing bachelor degree or diploma in Human Resources or any other related field will be an advantage for this position.
Work Experience  A candidate for the position will demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of working experience in HR Manager position with additional 2-3 years of experiences in business development or sales and marketing management.
 A suitable candidate will also have some experience preferably in an organisation within the same industry as the business.
 A candidate for this position will also require understanding or implementing or experiencing the diversity and inclusion activities especially in commercial sector from 2-3 years of experiences
 The candidate will also demonstrate a strong understanding and experience working with multiple human resource disciplines, for example, employee relations, compensation practices, organisational diagnosis, performance management, staffing, and state employment laws.
 The candidate’s familiarity with state employment laws and HR best practices is a necessity for key areas, for example, in the areas of recruitment, remuneration and benefits, and training and development.
 The candidate’s expertise with business development, sales and marketing activities and processes is also a MUST requirement of this position
 Additionally, a suitable candidate will also have proven and successful experience executing organisational change programs including diversity and inclusion as delegated by senior management.
 Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible and relevant
professional work experience in managerial level in HR management,
Business Development, Sales and Marketing areas.
 Experiences in developing business strategies and HR related project
management in ‘new-born’ organisation will be preferable.
Wide networks across both of private sector and development sector
including coordinating with government
 Strong understanding of HR Management and business development
including sales and marketing is a MUST
Language Competencies  Proficiency in English and Native Speaker of Myanmar;
 Native speakers of English understanding local context;
 Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills
