The position must ensure a smooth operation of the state of the art distribution center for retail logistics. The DC manager must be key in placing the right product on the market at the determined time, location, and condition inaccurate quantity along with superb service.

He/ she will manage the following DC activities:
- Receiving (Inbound)
- Put away
- Storage (including cross-docking)
- Replenishment
- Picking
- Consolidation (Outbound)
- Specific Operations (co-packing, bar code stickers, 3PL…)

In addition, the candidate must oversee the following tasks of DC related to capital projects:
- Planning, management, and implementation of DC capital projects
- Defining project scope, goals and deliverables
- Defining tasks and assignment to required resources
- Budgets and timelines
- Quality assurance
- Progress monitoring
- Change management

Job Functions:
1• Oversee all the activities of a Distribution Center and capital projects including budgeting, incomes, costs to be treated as a Business Unit
2• Resource Management: Team building, efficiency, evolvement, rewards, enforcement of SOP, continuous improvement, promotion of company culture and values
3• Develop a Logistics Mindset: Continuously improve and promote logistics best practices at overall CDSG group level while creating a positive impact at the BU level.
4• Develop Communication: Provide clear visibility and routine reporting of all costs, improvements, risks, and savings
5• Anticipation: Manage the operations according to the evolution of the situation. Be proactive at all times.
6• Agility: Be ready to support any abrupt management actions cost effectively. E.g. marketing & merchandising actions, seasonality or any other special event
7• Reliability: Be realistic and pragmatic, and guarantee that information is right, proper planning and SOPs are respected.
8• Sustainability: Each action (the decision is action) must be long term oriented. Any repetitive issues must be systematically eliminated (solved) in order to avoid facing an accumulation of problems at the highest costs

- Bachelor degree required, Masters preferred
- 5 - 10 years’ experience as a manager in a distribution center or warehouse setting
- Communication is essential: Must be fluent in Myanmar and English.
- Must be very data-oriented (ready to work with ERP data)
- Able to achieve, and display the personality of the leader
