Job Description

A Fantastic Opportunity for ...

Monitor cash flow statements and prepare forecasts and ensure availability of funds for operations
Develop relationships with external parties e.g auditors, solicitors, bankers, tax agent/consultant and other regulatory authorities
Liaise with auditors to ensure annual audit is carried out smoothly
Ensure that all transaction, payroll and VAT/ taxation requirements are met
Build and train an accounts team in line with the growth of the company
Prepare and interpret monthly management accounts (including key performance indicators and financial ratios for each company/business) and statutory accounts
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual templates for parent company reporting
Prepare annual budgets and forecasts. Monitor performance against budgets
Prepare EX COM, BOD and any other ad-hoc reports/papers
Prepare feasibility studies to support business growth, whether organic or inorganic

Job Requirements

You possess an accounting degree and are a qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/CA/CPA or equivalent).
With good financial acumen, you have accumulated at least 15 years of experience and 8 years overs finance Manager experience , with some leadership experience in operational accounting.
Experience in an SME environment will be positively considered.
You should be ready to take on more challenging responsibilities.
You are enthusiastic, energetic, with a strong ‘can-do’ personality and resilient in unfamiliar terrain.
Culturally adept and sensitive, you have the knack to handle situations diplomatically.
