.The applicant is expected to implement financial policies and procedures, conduct monthly financial analysis to identify and resolve issues, gaps and variances on internal financial management, and provide the line supervisor necessary reports and updates.
.The applicant is expected to implement financial policies and procedures, conduct monthly financial analysis to identify and resolve issues, gaps and variances on internal financial management, and provide the line supervisor necessary reports and updates.
.The applicant is required to supervise and ensure all financial activities are up-to-date and accurately entered by the Accounts staff. Establish, maintain and reconcile General Ledger on Weekly basis, monitor cash balances and cash forecasts providing the supervisor weekly updates. Ensures all obligations for purchases and logistical management are upheld and enforced.

Job Requirements

.The candidate for the post, will have minimum 5 years of experience in finance and financial management and reporting. Possess good financial analytical skills, along with being proactive and initiative taker in trouble-shooting financial challenges. Must have expertise in use of financial management software’s being used by international organizations operating in Myanmar.
.Prior working experience with international donor funded organizations will be considered an asset, must be willing to be flexible about working schedules as and when necessary.
.The candidate short listed for the job is expected to have good command of written and spoken English and Burmese languages, as will be interacting with Burmese and non-Burmese staff. The candidate should be able to travel in and outside the country, as and when requested by the line manager and or Founder & Editor-in-Chief. Be able to make presentation(s) in English and Burmese to stakeholders as and when delegated.
