Job Description

An Exciting Opportunity for ...

-Reporting to the Networking Planning Manager,Engineer shall be responsible for the network design and planning,capacity management, vendor evaluation procurement and installation of equipment for expansion and new services. -Conduct cost benefit analysis for new facilities to be deployed and recommend network facility roll-out strategies to support the services -Develop project plans and coordinate with all concerned entities to ensure efficient project implementation specifically for core network projects -Provide system requirements for networks, designs, integration, capacity ,maintenance and performance -Administer and maintain capacity and port utilization of assigned network elements (Access Network, DWDM and Core Network). Recommend node upgrade when necessary -Develops detailed product test plans and performs advanced troubleshooting on multiple product lines in an-service environment -Establish and manage optimal working relationship with technology provider (Manufactures, Integrators ,Suppliers and Contractors)

Job Requirements

-Degree in Telecommunication /Electrical/Electronic/IT/Computer Science with at least two years of working experience preferably in an ISP environment -Knowledge of computer networking like TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP,OSPF), WAN technologies -Familiar with network equipment configuration such as Cisco, Juniper, etc... -Knowledge of network monitoring and management tools, e.g ., Cacti, MRTG, Nagios, SNMP, etc., and network security. -Demonstrated experience performing network packet inspection, traffic analysis performance characterization (Wireshark,TCPdump,etc.) -Knowledge in Linix and basic scripting -Professional Certifications (CCNA/CCNP) will be an advantage.
